Obituary of Charlotte Ann Pack

Charlotte Ann Pack December 14, 1943 - July 17, 2018 Funeral services for Charlotte Ann Pack, 74, of Lovington, NM will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 10:00 am at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel with Bro. Matt Thackerson officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Charlotte was born on December 14, 1943 in Holly, CO to Clarence and Doris (Worf) Coder and passed away in Lubbock, TX on July 17, 2018. She married Wes Pack on April 25, 1965 in Holly, CO and they have shared 53 years of life and love together. She was loved by all who met her and had a very generous heart and kind soul. She loved crafting and made many beautiful creations. She especially loved to crochet and make wreaths, but she was most famous for her amazing candy making skills. She won countless blue ribbons at the Lea County Fair for her entries each year. She loved her grandchildren and loved watching them take part in any activity they were involved in and was the biggest Lovington Wildcat fan. She spent Friday nights cheering on the football team and watching her son Casey coach the Lady Cats Basketball team. Charlotte was an avid, “HUGE” fan of the Denver Broncos! Another joy was spending her days at the senior center with her husband playing cards with friends. She went to work for the Lea County Sheriff’s Department as a dispatcher on August 1, 1974 and retired October 1, 2000. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Doris Coder and two brother-in-laws: Keith Davis and Dale Hess. Surviving her is her husband, Wes of the home; two sons: Casey and wife Stephanie Pack and Leslie Pack, both of Lovington; three grandsons: Zach and wife Lacey of Melrose, NM, Heath and wife Teanna of California, Joshua of California; two granddaughters: Makenzy Pack of Lubbock, TX and Delaney Pack of Lovington. Also, one beautiful, great granddaughter, Harper Adley and a great grandson to be born in November. Three sisters: Connie Hess and Diana Davis both of Holly, CO and Janet Haddock of Wellington, TX and numerous nieces and nephews a host of friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 1:00 until 5:00 with the family in residence from 2:00-3:00 pm.
