Services for Imojune Loveless
Patman, 86, of Lovington will be
held at Lovington First Church of
the Nazarene at First Street and
Ave. B at 10 a.m. Friday, July 17
with Rev. Jaron Graham, grandson,
officiating. Burial will follow
at Resthaven Cemetery. Services
are under the direction of Kirby-
Smith-Rogers Funeral Home.
Imojune passed away quietly at
home Thursday, July 9, 2015. She
was born to Clyde and Allie
Loveless in Ropesville, Texas on
March 25, 1929. She married Lynn
D. Patman on August 15, 1947.
They moved to McDonald, New
Mexico in 1948 where they farmed
and ranched. They later started a
family and had three daughters:
D’Linda, Jeanine and Debbie
Renee’, who died shortly after
birth. The family moved to
Lovington in 1963.
Imojune was an accomplished
seamstress and took pride in making
clothes for her daughters while
staying at home to raise them. She
later worked at Lea County
Electric for many years in the front
office and retired from the co-op.
She was a faithful member of
the Lovington Church of the
Nazarene where she was a past
board member and Sunday school
teacher. She was an active member
of Nor-Lea General Hospital
Auxiliary and was a member of the
Llano Extension Club for over 50
years.
She was preceded in death by:
her husband, Lynn D. Patman, in
2013, a daughter, Debbie Renee’
and one sister Yvonne (Don)
Thomas.
She is survived by: two daughters
and their husbands—D’Linda
and Dave Burdick of Omaha,
Nebraska, and Jeanine and John
Graham of Lovington; four grandchildren
and their spouses—Jaron
and Elizabeth Graham of
Lovington, Tyler and Amanda
Graham of Lubbock, Texas,
Aubrey and David Edmonds of
Missoula, Montana, and Brittany
and Scottie Wiebelhaus of Omaha,
Nebraska; and six great-grandchildren—
Quentin Graham, Breckyn
Graham, Madeleine and Lauren
Edmonds, and Rylie and Henlie
Wiebelhaus.
