Obituary of Erdice Beavers

Erdice Beavers April 01, 1926 - July 06, 2015 Visitation for Erdice Beavers, 89, of Clovis, NM and formerly of Lovington, NM will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, from 3:00 – 6:00 pm at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home and graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Snyder Cemetery, Snyder, Texas at 2:00 pm Texas time. Erdice was born on April 1, 1926 in Snyder, Texas to Clyde and Nonie Jo (Rubenstein) Reynolds and passed away in Clovis, NM at Wheatland Senior Living Community on July 6, 2015. Erdice married Hollan Ray “Bud” Beavers in Snyder, TX on July 12, 1946 and they moved to Lovington, making their home here. She worked at Cones Abstract Company for a while and then moved to the Court house as the County treasurer. She was a member of 3rd & Central Church of Christ and enjoyed keeping her yard and garden beautiful, which was always commented upon. She was always elegantly dressed and enjoyed being with her friends. The family would like to express a special thank you and appreciation to Dr. Ronald Hopkins of Lovington for his long time caring of Erdice. He went above and beyond and we appreciate all he has done. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother: Clyde Reynolds. She is survived by her brother, Joe Reynolds of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and nephew, Jerry Smith of Lovington and other numerous nieces and nephews. Condolences may be sent to www.kirbysmithrogers.com.
