Obituary of Nina Faye Perry

Watch the Tribute Nina Faye Perry September 20, 1914 - March 05, 2011 Funeral services for Nina Faye Perry, 96, of Lovington, will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at 10:00 am at Third and Central Church of Christ with Bob Carter and Dale Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mrs. Perry was born in Howe, Texas on September 20, 1914 to Michael and Elisabeth (McGinniss) Grammer and passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Nor-Lea Hospital. She married Frank Earl Perry on May 20, 1933 in Iowa Park, Texas. She loved to travel, do needlework, fish, play card games and do jigsaw and crossword puzzles. Nina was a member of the Church of Christ for over 80 years and taught the 4th grade Bible class for more than 40 years. She was a sales lady for Anthony’s in Hobbs and Lovington before her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, one brother, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Betty and husband Al Roberts of Lovington; three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.
