Obituary of Waunita Behrens

Waunita "Sue" Behrens May 20, 1933 - November 17, 2015 Celebration of life services for Waunita “Sue” Behrens, 82, of Lovington, NM will be held in Maramec, Oklahoma where she will be laid to rest. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Sue was born on May 20, 1933 in Seminole, OK to Earl and Pauline (Daniels) Beuelhymer and passed away on November 17, 2015 at her residence. She moved to Lovington in 1963 and was the type of person that enjoyed helping anyone in need and she loved to feed everyone. She was an avid reader and loved to play card games. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Behrens , her parents, and two brothers: Albert Beuelhymer and Floyd Clemence. Sue is survived by her four children; Frank Hawkins of Las Cruces, NM; Opal Costello of Lovington; Sharon and husband Riley Hardin of Cripple Creek, CO. and Jimmie Behrens of Cripple Creek, CO. Also surviving her are four grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren.
