Obituary of Linda Ruth Belcher

Linda Ruth Belcher September 23, 1957 - December 26, 2012 Linda Ruth Belcher, 55, of Tatum, N.M passed away at her residence on Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Linda was born on September 23, 1957 in Springdale, Arkansas to Odie Ed and Sally Evelyn (Curtis) Flowers. She was a long-time resident of Tatum and also attended school there, graduating from Tatum High School. She was previously employed by the Burger Barn in Tatum and also different restaurants during her working years. Linda married William Belcher in Tatum on January 10, 1978. She was an avid reader, loved cats and dogs and her greatest joy was being with her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. She is survived by one daughter, Cashmere Belcher of Plains TX; three brothers: Kenneth Flowers of Tatum NM, Paul and wife Betty Flowers of Lovington, NM, and James Flowers and Dana Neal of Tatum, NM; two sisters: Mary and husband Steve Dickinson of Slaton, TX, and Sharon Waller of Tatum, NM, three grandchildren: Cashlin Migues, Camron Migues, and William Rodriguez and numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Linda’s wishes were to be cremated and there will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lea County Humane Society, 700 N. Grimes Hobbs, NM 88240.
