Obituary of Billy Craig Prosise

Billy Craig Prosise June 10, 1954 - February 07, 2018 Memorial graveside services for Billy Craig Prosise, 63, of Hobbs, NM will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 10:30 am at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Benny Greenlee officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mr. Prosise was born on June 10, 1954 in Austin, TX to J.D. and Marcella (Eaton) Prosise and passed away on February 7, 2018 in Hobbs, NM. Bill attended school in Brady, TX until he was fifteen then moved to Copperas Cove where he met and later married Sherry Gandy. They shared forty three years of marriage and life together. They came to Hobbs and Billy started working in the oil patch and continued his career in the oilfield for the next forty four years. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in science from College of Southwest and NMJC and also received his ASE certified mechanics license. He enjoyed going to the lakes and rivers and liked to barbecue often. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. Surviving him are his five children: Travis Prosise, Jeremiah Prosise, Felicia Prosise, Joshua and wife Terri Prosise and Darren Prosise; nine grandchildren: Marlana, Christopher, A.J, Sadie, Isaiah, Brenton, Paige, Paisley and Crisilyn.
