Obituary of Elizabeth Quinonez

Elizabeth Quinonez November 07, 1969 - October 28, 2016 Funeral services for Elizabeth Quinonez, 46, of Lovington, NM will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 2:00 pm at St. Thomas Catholic Church with burial to follow at Lovington Cemetery. Rosary will be on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 7:00 pm at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mrs. Quinonez was born on November 7, 1969 in El Paso, Texas to Armando and Quica (Ramos) Herrera and passed away in Lubbock, TX on October 28, 2016. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 am until rosary time. Elizabeth was born in Texas but raised in Mexico. She played volleyball, basketball and played the piano and guitar. She worked as a sales person in a jewelry store and then was employed by Baja Grill, and Rancho Grande as a cook. She was a good friend and would always find positive things to say about people. She was preceded in death by her mother. Surviving her is her husband, Gilberto of Lovington; one son: Gilberto Quinonez Jr. and two daughters: Kenya Quinonez of Albuquerque, NM and Cindy Quinonez of Lovington; her father: Armando Herrera of Chihuahua, Mexico; one brother: Jesus and wife Maria Luisa Herrera of Chihuahua, Mexico and one sister: Lorena Hererra of Chihuahua, Mexico and many friends.
