Obituary of Arturo Quintana

Arturo "Arthur" Quintana December 21, 1971 - February 20, 2018 Funeral services for Arturo “Arthur” Quintana, 46, of Lovington, NM will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Alonzo Quinonez officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Arthur was born on December 21, 1971 to Ricardo and Dora Quintana in Lovington, NM and passed away on February 20, 2018 in Lubbock, TX. He attended school in Lovington and loved working with electronic things, taking them apart and putting back together. He loved cars and was very athletic, enjoying running before his health deteriorated. He was employed in the oilfield as a derrick hand. Arthur was preceded in death by his father, Ricardo Quintana and one brother, Ricardo Quintana Jr. Surviving him is his mother: Dora Quintana of Lovington; 2 sons: Devon and Halen Quintana of Denver, CO; two daughters: Kelsey of Lovington and Creseda of Hobbs; two brothers: Ricardo Jr and wife Blanca Quintana and Henry and wife Kevi Quintana all of Lovington; six sisters: Alicia and husband Robert Leiba of Lovington, Maria and husband Reynaldo Ortega of Tatum, TX, Manuela Garza of Lovington, Delma and husband Jesus Chavez of Lovington, Patricia Alvarado of Hobbs and Martha and husband Ernest Hoh of Indiana; and two grandchildren.
