Obituary of Audrey Lee Riha

Audrey Lee Riha July 10, 1937 - February 18, 2013 Funeral services for Audrey Lee Riha, 75, of Lovington, NM will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel with Bishop David Camp officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Mrs. Riha was born in Robeline, Louisiana on July 10, 1937 to Benjamin Willis and Sariah Elizabeth (Jordan) Sims and passed away on February 18, 2013 in Lovington, New Mexico. She received her GED in 1976 and attended NMJC for 2 years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mrs. Riha worked as a supervisor at Humphrey House for seven years and any child under her care was shown a lot love and knew they were loved by her. In later years these children would return with their children calling her “Grandma” and she considered this a great blessing. She was one of eleven brothers and sisters. She married Edward Frank Riha on September 23, 1987 in Lovington, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son: Harold Wayne Wedgeworth. She is survived by her husband of the home; two sons: Roy Riha of Del Rio, TX and John Riha of Florida; two daughters: Jan Fay and husband Cliff Payne of Lovington and Waunda Louise and husband Richard Fletcher of Lubbock, TX; two sisters: Myrtis Gilcrease of Lovington and Lou and husband Lynn Lester of Shreveport, LA; five grandchildren: Jason Wayne Wedgeworth, Amiee Wedgeworth, Gabrielle and husband Kirk Gilbert, Danielle and husband John Glover and Amanda Good; and one great-grandson: Johnny Ray Glover III.
