Leonard Lee Robinett March 08, 1927 - March 28, 2013 Our father, grandfather, great-grandfather and best friend, Leonard Lee Robinett, 86, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 28, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. Services are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Leonard was born on March 8, 1927 in Waxahachie, Texas to Charlie and Georgia Bell Robinett. He lived a wonderful life marked by his great sense of humor, boyish grin and his love for his wife. Everyone knew him for being a man of his word and for his willingness to help others. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Maxine Robinett and his parents. He is survived by two daughters: Brenda Martin and her sons; Tony and Chris; and daughter Linda Bishop and her husband, Tony and their daughters Lisa, Amy and Ashley; his sister Sharlene Thermer and her husband Arthur and many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. Leonard will be laid to rest at a graveside service at Lovington Cemetery on Monday, April 1, 2013 at 10:00 am with Tony Bishop officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org) in Leonard’s memory.
