Obituary of Gwenlynn Roxanne Clewis

Watch the Tribute Gwenlynn Roxanne Clewis September 07, 1959 - April 16, 2014 Graveside funeral services for Gwenlynn Roxanne Clewis, 54, of Lovington, NM will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 10:00 am at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mrs. Clewis was born in Hobbs, NM on September 7, 1959 to John and Neda (Willis) Cullon and passed away on April 16, 2014 in Lovington. She spent most of her childhood in Lea County and moved to Odessa, TX in her teens. She returned to Lovington a few years ago to be close to her children. She loved her nursing career and was a wonderful caregiver for her patients and others. Gwen was a loving person and was a very religious lady that enjoyed Christian music and reading her Bible. She had been in ill health in recent years. She was preceded in death by her Mother. She is survived by her husband Clarence Clewis; three sons: Ronnie and wife Jenni Cullon of Lovington; John Johnson of Texarkana, AR; Ben Johnson of Lovington; one brother: Kress Dickinson and one sister Drenda and husband Mike Murzin of Waxahatchie, TX and four grandchildren.
