Obituary of Victorio Robledo

Watch the Tribute Victorio Robledo December 23, 1942 - May 14, 2011 Funeral services for Victorio Robledo, 68, of Lovington, will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at St. Thomas Catholic Church at 2:00 pm with Father Manuel Ibarra officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mr. Robledo was born on December 23, 1942 in El Portento, Durango, Mexico to Miguel and Gertrudis (Nuñez) Robledo and passed away at his residence on Saturday, May 14, 2011. He married Gloria (Garcia) Robledo on April 18, 1971 in Durango, Mexico. Mr. Robledo was an oilfield roustabout for many years. He enjoyed working around the house, music, the horse races and he loved to dance. He was a quiet man, a good provider and liked to help other people, especially his family. He became a United States Citizen in 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Gloria, of the home; four sons: Pedro and wife Eugenia Robledo; Victor and wife Maricella Robledo; Martin and wife Maricruz Valles all of Juarez, Mexico and Jose and wife Ruth Robledo of Lovington, NM; two daughters: San Juana and husband Martin Romero of Juarez, Mexico and Maribel and husband David Guiterrez of Lovington, NM; Three brothers: Martin and wife Elizabeth Robledo and Apolonio and wife Refugia Robledo all of Durango, Mexico and Christoval and wife Rosa Robledo of Dallas, TX and two sisters: Martina and husband Raul Martinez and Maria Del Rosario and husband Victor Rodriguez all of Durango, Mexico. Also, fifteen grandchildren survive him. Rosary will be Tuesday, May 17th at 7:00 pm at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Visitation will be Tuesday from 8:30 am until rosary time and Wednesday from 8:30 am until service time. Condolences may be sent to www.kirbysmithrogers.com.
