Juana Rodriguez June 24, 1934 - February 27, 2009 Funeral services for Maria Juana Gaytan de Rodriguez, 74, will be Monday, March 2, 2009 at 10:00 am at Kirby-Smith- Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Sanchez, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Mrs. Rodriguez was born on June 24, 1934 in Sierra Mojada, Coahuila, Mexico and passed away on February 27, 2009 at her residence in Lovington, NM. She married Ernesto Rodriguez On August 25, 1951 in Ojinaga, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix & Antonia Venegas Gaytan, 1 daughter, Antonia Rodriguez, 1 son, Gerardo Rodriguez, 2 sisters; Santos Gaytan and Maria Juve; 3 brothers, Juan, Pedro and Agustin Gaytan. She is survived by her husband Ernesto Rodriguez of Lovington, NM; 4 sons, Simon & wife Maria Rodriguez of Ojinaga, Mexico; Guillermo & wife Amparo Rodriguez of Lovington, NM; Fausto & wife Maria Sylvia Rodriguez of Denver City, TX; and Ernesto Jr. & wife Norma Rodriguez of Monahans, TX. 4 daughters: Micaela Rodriguez of Lovington, NM Maria Rodriguez of Odessa, TX, Juanita Rodriguez & husband Lucino of Lovington, and Amalia Rodriguez & husband Ricardo also of Lovington. 1 brother, Jesus & wife Felipa Gayton of Eunice, NM; 31 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Rodriguez enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and loved her family. She was a member of the Christian Apostolic Center Church of Lovington. Visitation will be Sunday, March 1, 2009 from 1pm until 8 pm with a service at 7pm at the Kirby-Smith- Rogers Funeral Home Chapel.
