Obituary of Justin Ned Rogers

Watch the Tribute Justin Ned Rogers February 01, 1994 - February 15, 2015 Funeral services for Justin Ned Rogers, 21, of Lovington, NM will be held Friday, February 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Jaron Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Justin was born on February 1, 1994 in Lubbock, TX to Ned Jr. and Lisa Rogers and passed away on February 15, 2015. He attended school in Plainview, TX for several years and then received his GED from Christian Academy in Hart, TX. Justin enjoyed football, basketball and he loved music. He was an outgoing and well-liked young man and loved life. He had a dog he named “Money” and another one he called “Cash”. He was a hard worker and made grown men strive to work as hard as he did. He volunteered at Heart’s Desire helping Debi Feltman and at the Youth Center helping Janie Bailey and his grandmother, Maria Rogers. Justin was employed by Bailey Construction and also did work for Crossbow Electric. He was an easy-going, good-hearted young man and he touched the hearts of many. He will be missed. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother, Eufemia Vasquez and his Paternal Grandfather, Ned Rogers. He is survived by his parents, Ned and Lisa Rogers of Lovington; two children: Sage Antonio Resendes and Serenity Isabella Resendes of Plainview, TX; two sisters: Tiffany Rogers and Nadine Nicole Rogers, both of Lubbock, TX; his Paternal Grandmother; Maria Rogers of Lovington and Maternal Grandfather, Leandro Vasquez of Lubbock and one nephew, Avery Rodriguez of Lubbock, TX and a host of friends. Visitation will be Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
