Cruzina Ruiz July 15, 1932 - October 06, 2008 Funeral services for Cruzina Ruiz, 76, of Lovington, NM will be 10:00 am Friday, October 10, 2008 at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Deacon Sam Navarrette officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Rosary will be 7:00 pm Thursday, October 9, 2008 at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Mrs. Ruiz was born on July 15, 1932 in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. She passed away on October 6, 2008 in Lovington, New Mexico. She was married to Gregorio Ruiz. Mrs. Ruiz enjoyed dancing, walking and traveling. She loved visiting her friends and loved her family very much. She is survived by five sons, Jesus Ruiz and wife Elsa of Farmington, New Mexico, David Ruiz and wife Melinda of Farmington, New Mexico, Jaime Ruiz and Ricardo Ruiz of Lovington, New Mexico and Jose Antonio Ruiz and wife Cristina of El Paso, Texas; nine daughters, Lupe Ruiz of Modesto, California, Anamaria Piñon and husband Arturo of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Zeny Ruiz of San Jose, California, Francisca Rosas and husband Rolando of Lovington, New Mexico, Dolores Tarwater and husband Alfonso of Farmington, New Mexico, Lucy Elmore and husband Ermo of Lovington, New Mexico, Bertha De Leon and husband Gregorio of Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, Candi Ruiz of Lovington, New Mexico and Maria Isabel Tapia and husband Ismael of Lovington, New Mexico; one brother, Juan Perez of San Jose, California; six sisters, Inez Perez of Isleta, Texas, Consuelo Ramirez and husband Socorro of Fabens, Texas, Naty Castillo of San Jose, California, Francisca Castañuela and husband Leonardo of San Jose, California, Lidia Gonzales and husband Gonzalo of Fabens, Texas and Tildia Vera and husband Carlos of Guadalupe, Chihuahua, Mexico; 43 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alejandro and Luz Perez; her husband, Gregorio Ruiz; one son, Rito Ruiz and one daughter, Lorenza Ruiz.
