Linda Dawn Ruth August 16, 1966 - April 17, 2011 Funeral services for Linda Dawn Ruth, 44, of Hobbs, NM will be held on Friday, April 22, 2011 at 10:00 am at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Chapel with Bro. Brad Reimers officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven cemetery. Linda was born on August 16, 1966 in Lovington to Jerry Will Ruth Sr. and Dorothy JoAnn (Roberts) Ruth and passed away in Hobbs on Sunday April 17, 2011. She was a Licensed vocational nurse and a caregiver and enjoyed reading, rodeos and loved animals. She was also active in her church. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Jerri Lynn Ruth. She is survived by her brother, Jerry Jr. and wife Dawn Ruth of Gainsville, Texas and four uncles: Eddie Byrd of Lovington, NM; Bill and wife Elaine Ruth of Lovington, Charles and Chloe Ann Byrd of Hobbs, and Donny and wife Neva Byrd of Hobbs, NM. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 21, 2011 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
