Richard Lee Coe October 31, 1933 - August 03, 2007 Funeral services for Richard Lee Coe, 73, of Lovington, NM are 10:00 am Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel with Brother Ron Ragland officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Mr. Coe, 73, passed away Fiday, August 3, in Lovington, NM. He was born on October 31, 1933 in Ruidoso, NM. He married Annie Marie Rhodes Coe on July 18, 1985 in Ft. Stockton, TX. Richard was raised in Ruidoso, worked for the National Park Service at Big Bend as an electrician, was a veteran of the US Army, served in Korea and received the Korean Service Medal. He was a member of the Eagles, VFW, and American Legion. He enjoyed arrowhead hunting, fishing, hunting, and woodworking and making lamps out of mesquite wood. Survivors include his wife, Annie Marie Rhodes Coe; two daughters, Rebecca Coe of Austin, TX, Cindy Lou Danks and husband David of Slaton, TX; three step-daughters, Sylvia Fletcher and husband Jimmy of Midland, TX, Cecilia Ann Phillips and husband D.P. of Eunice, NM, and Judy Kay Prejean Bright of Memphis, TN; two step-sons Carroll Joseph Prejean of Midland, TX and Curtis Lee Erwin; ten grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred Lewis Coe and Elva Estelle Campbell Coe.
