Donald Ray Bible August 11, 1942 - May 09, 2007 Services for Donald R. Bible, 64, of Hobbs, will be held at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 14, 2007. Greg Boyd will officiate. Burial will be at Lovington Cemetery. Born August 30, 1942, at Marlow, Oklahoma, he passed away May 9, 2007, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He attended school in Aztec, NM, but had resided in Lovington and Hobbs for many years. Survivors include two daughters, Monica and her husband Danny Melton of Hobbs, and Valerie Bright of Long Beach, California; sisters, Celestia and John Keeling, Barbara Olliff and Olga York, all of Aztec, NM; and Verna and Greg Boyd of Des Moines, Iowa; brothers, Troy and Velma Bible of Farmington and Stanley and Marti Bible of Hemphill, Texas, and his twin brother, Delbert Bible of Aztec; a sister-in-law, Sue Bible of Tatum; former wife and her husband, Barbara Whitson and James Olliff of Hobbs; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dalton R. and Hazel Graves Bible; sister, Martha L. Bible; brother, Leroy Bible; and grandson, Donny Melton.
