Obituary of Rosalia Bonilla Trejo

Watch the Tribute Rosalia Bonilla Trejo September 04, 1934 - April 18, 2011 Funeral services for Rosalia (Bonilla) Trejo, 76, of Lovington, will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at St. Thomas Catholic Church at 10:00 am with Father Manuel Ibarra officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mrs. Trejo was born on September 4, 1934 in Palo Blanco Cienega de Ortiz, Chihuahua, Mexico to Marcello and Ezequiel (Melendez) Bonilla and passed away at her residence in Lovington on Monday, April 18, 2011. She married Socorro Trejo in Mexico on January 7, 1957. She had lived in Lovington since 1994 and attended St. Thomas Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and was very family oriented. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and four brothers. She is survived by her husband, Socorro Trejo of the home; four daughters: Maria del Refugio & husband Claudio Rivero of Dumas, TX, Maria Caridad and husband Arturo Estrada of Lovington, NM and Maria de Jesus and husband Maximo Sigala Sr. of Lovington, NM and Candelaria Mendoza of Juarez, Mexico. One brother Pedro and wife Bartola Bonilla of Chihuahua, Mexico and two sisters: Guadalupe Bonilla of Juarez Mexico and Katedra Bonilla Melendez. Also seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Rosary is Wednesday, April 20th at 7:00 pm at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 8:30 am until 8pm and Thursday from 8:30 am until service time.
