Juanita Rachael Vaughn October 19, 1925 - September 04, 2007 Services for Juanita Rachael Vaughn, 81, of Lovington will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Macedonia Holiness Temple Church with Rev. M.L. Barry and Rev. Donald Vaughn officiating. Burial will take place at Lovington Cemetery. Visitation will take place Friday, September 7 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. She was born October 19, 1925 in Paris, Texas and passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Nor-Lea Hospital. She married Grady Vaughn on September 7, 1941 in Paris, Texas. She was a member of Macedonia Holiness Temple Church where she held many offices including Supervisor of Women and Pastor Aide President. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Vaughn; her parents, Ed and Myrtle Jones; two sons, Daniel and David Vaughn; four brothers, Charles, Calvin, A.V., and James Jones; and four sisters, Ruth, Laverne, Artie Bell and Delores Jones. Survivors include seven sons, Rev. James Vaughn and wife Patsy of Las Vegas, New Mexico, Samuel Vaughn of Dallas, Texas, Rev. Larry Vaughn of DeSoto, Texas, Henry Vaughn and wife Ruth of Lancaster, Texas, Tony Vaughn of Adelanto, California, Elijah Vaughn of Los Angeles, California, and Rev. Donald Vaughn and wife Mary Ann of Lovington, New Mexico; two daughters, Gwendolyn Vaughn of Lovington, New Mexico and Myrtle O’Neal and husband Robert of Lovington; one brother, Robert Jones and wife Leola of Los Angeles, California; 21 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
