Obituary of Patsy J Vaughn

Patsy J Vaughn June 15, 1960 - May 17, 2012 Funeral services for Patsy Howard-Vaughn 51 of Las Vegas NM will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Macedonia Holiness Temple in Lovington, NM. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home of Lovington. Mrs. Vaughn was born on June 15, 1960 to Willie and Pauline (Washington) Howard and passed away on May 17, 2012 at The Heart Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. She married James Vaughn on May 24, 1980 in Lovington, NM. Mrs. Vaughn loved going to church and worshiping God, while supporting her husband in his ministry. She was also involved in MOPS- Mothers of Pre-Schoolers, where she was able to help young mothers in need. Among the simpler things of life Mrs. Vaughn loved to shop and work her puzzle books and spend time with her Grandkids. Mrs. Vaughn was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Emma Howard. Mrs. Vaughn leaves to cherish her memories of her loving and devoted husband James Vaughn of Las Vegas, NM. Three sons, Anthony Vaughn, Marcus Vaughn, and David Vaughn all of Las Vegas, NM. Three grandchildren, JJ, Hailey, Noah all of Las Vegas, NM. Also a niece that she considered to be her grandchild, Rachelle Howard of Las Vegas, NM. Four brothers, Willie Howard, Jr. of Lovington, NM, Louis Howard, Sr. of Lovington, NM, Perry Howard of Hobbs, NM, and Robert Polaco of Las Vegas, NM. Six sisters, Willene McBride, Beatrice Starks, Luella Jackson, Joyce Howard, Nadine Howard all of Lovington, NM and Jeannie Hutchings of Manor, TX.
