Belinda Clara Villalobos May 13, 1956 - September 01, 2018 Funeral services for Belinda Clara Villalobos, 62, of Lovington, NM will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm at St. Thomas Catholic Church on Friday, September 7, 2018. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mrs. Villalobos was born in Mathis, TX on May 13, 1956 to Pablo and Griselda (Garcia) Valverde and passed away on September 1 2018. She grew up on Boyd’s Brothers Farm and attended school in Lovington until she moved with her family to Oregon where she graduated from High School. In 1975 she married her husband, Nicolas Villalobos Sr. They moved to Texas in 1978 and then came to Lovington to make their home in 1980. Belinda enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the Casino but especially liked dancing and going to the horse races. She was family oriented and loved her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents and two infant sons. Surviving her is her husband Nicolas of the home, one son: Nick Villalobos Jr of Hobbs, NM and one daughter: Vanessa Villalobos of Lovington; one brother: Anthony and wife Amy Valverde of George West, TX; and four sisters: Deirdre and husband Manuel Chapa of George West, TX, Edelmira Valverde of Three Rivers, TX, Laurie Valverde of Three Rivers, TX and Christy and husband Roy Gamez of Tilden, TX; Five grandchildren: Angelica Villalobos, Chasity Jimenez, Nicolas Villalobos III, Breena Villalobos and Elisa Perez; also two great-granddaughters: Araceli Socorro and Jailyne Arroyo. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 from Noon until 6:30 pm
