Lish Wilkerson, Jr. March 15, 1946 - December 14, 2014 Lish Wilkerson Jr., 68, of Hobbs, NM passed away on December 14, 2014 in Lubbock, TX. He was born on March 15, 1946 to Lish Wilkerson Sr. and Alberta Rogers in Houston, Texas. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, December 19, 2014 from 9-5pm at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2:00pm at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Lish lived in Hobbs, NM for all of his life. He enjoyed fishing and music. He would love spending time with and holding the babies in the family. He was an all-around happy person who loved life. Lish Wilkerson Jr. was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Jerry Bob Franklin. He is survived by his two sons: Lish Wilkerson Jr. III of Los Angeles, CA, and Lish Wilkerson Jr. IV of Hobbs, NM. One daughter: Velisha Wilkerson Harris of Atlanta, GA. Eight brothers: Roy Wilkerson of Hobbs, NM, Robert Franklin of Lubbock, TX, Benny Franklin of Hobbs, NM, Carl Franklin of Hobbs, NM, Danny Ray Franklin of Oklahoma City, OK, Joe Franklin Jr. of Hobbs, NM, Londus Franklin of Hobbs, NM, and Douglas Franklin of Mineola, TX. Ten Sisters: Carolyn Hayes of Hobbs, NM, Vivian Heckard of Hobbs, NM, JoAnn Morgan of Hobbs, NM, Brenda Fay Haynes of Hobbs, NM, Melinda Heckard of Hobbs, NM, Cynthia Franklin of Oklahoma City, OK, Shiela Franklin of Hobbs, NM, Tammy Franklin of Hobbs, NM, Freda Johnson of Hobbs, NM, and Sharonda Franklin of Oklahoma City, OK.
