Eva Jo Wilson October 01, 1936 - September 04, 2010 Eva Jo Wilson, 73, passed from this life on September 4, 2010 at her home in Hobbs, NM. She was born to James LeRoy and Eva Mae (Noe) Gibbs in Lawton, OK on October 1, 1936. She graduated from Denver City High School. She married Jim Jarrett who predeceased her. She was employed at Yoakum County Hospital as a Nurse’s Aide and after 20 years retired. She married Frank Wilson on October 23, 1980 and they moved to Hobbs, NM where she was a member of Taylor Memorial Baptist Church. She had a true passion for painting, planting flowers and working in her garden. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband and two brothers, Andrew and Frankie Gibbs. She is survived by her husband Frank of the home, daughter: Debra Alexander of Cisco, TX and two sons: Johnny and wife Lanetta Jarrett of Hobbs and Joseph Jarrett and wife Marsha of San Angelo, TX; grandchildren Jason, Kristen and Zak Jarrett, 1 brother, James & wife Dolores Gibbs of Lubbock, TX and 3 sisters: Marty of Big Spring; Mary of Killeen, TX and Nina of Texas. Cremation and arrangements will take place under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home of Lovington, NM. Condolences may be sent to www.kirbysmithrogers.com.
