Bobby Ray Bolton March 20, 1944 - December 10, 2014 Bobby Ray Bolton, 70, of Hobbs, NM passed away on December 10, 2014 in Lubbock, TX. He was born on March 20, 1944 to Henry Bolton and Asha Irby Bolton in Lake Providence, Louisiana. Bobby grew up and attended school in Louisiana. He then went into the United States Army. After his discharge from the military, he moved to Hobbs, NM and began working as a painter with his grandfather. Bobby enjoyed watching TV, the news, and old westerns. He also enjoyed drinking coffee with his friends and taught good work ethics to his children. Bobby Ray Bolton was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Johnny Bolton and Ricky Hicks and one daughter: Gwen Bolton. He is survived by his three sons: Jonathan Ray Bolton of Hobbs, NM, Bobby J. (Jennifer) Bolton of Simi Valley, CA, and Edward Bolton of Ohio. One brother: Danny Bolton of Bastrop, LA, Eight sisters: Gloria (Wayne) Hofford of Monroe, LA, Sue (Starley) Woodson of Bastrop, LA, Kay (Chipper) West of Bastrop, LA, Mary Williams of Colorado Springs, CO, Cristie (Chris) Gandy of Farmerville, LA, Becky Bolton of Bastrop, LA, Keri (James) Middlebrooks of Bastrop, LA, and Anette (Dylan) Repp of Bastrop, LA. Three grandchildren: Georgia, Leila, and Hank. One Uncle: Dennis Bolton of Bastrop, LA. Services will be held in Louisiana at a later date.
