Obituary of Carole Ann Northam

Funeral services for Carole Ann Northam, 77, of Lovington NM will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel with Pastor Gary Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Carole was born on June 8, 1941 in Niagara Falls, NY to Harry T. and Hazel E. (Little) Moshier and passed away on December 21, 2018. Carole graduated from Star Point High School in Lockhart, NY. She served in the US Navy in the "60's where she met her husband, Raymond. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and loved being a member and riding with the Christian Motorcycle Assoc. (CMA) Carole was passionate about supporting the Baptist Children's Home in Portales. She was patriotic, loved God and her family and served her country, her friends and family every time she had the opportunity to do so. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed baking cookies for family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Northam and her parents. Surviving her is her daughter: Raynette and husband David Adkins of Northglenn, CO; one son: Scott and wife Amy Northam of Ruidoso, NM; one brother: Ed and wife Pat Moshier of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; three grandchildren: Stefany Adkins of Arlington, TX, Adam Adkins and Erik Adkins both of Northglen, Colorado and a daughter of the heart, Savannah and husband James Cody of Lovington. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
