How sad to hear of Archie's passing. This will leave a hole in the lives of many. He was a friend of my family for around 50 years. He always had a twinkle in his eyes, a wonderful smile and a big hug for my mom and myself. All I hear are wonderful stories of his kindness, understanding and humor. Our hearts go out to Patsy & family with prayers for comfort and healing.

I remember Archie as a kind and caring person and an excellent police chief. He was soft spoken and so diplomatic in his dealings with people, even if they didn't deserve his kindness. His wife Patsy baked my wedding cake. Wonderful couple.

What a honor to be his niece. He was one of the kindest men i ever knew. He passed his faith down to me and I treasure the times we came together to visit. The last time I saw him was at my mom blanch funeral. He told me he still had a picture of me he kept on his desk. I never knew that. He knew how to love. Love you uncle arch. See you in heaven!

Archie was a really good man and my heart goes out to the family from the Jason Watkins family.
I had the pleasure of playing numerous rounds of golf with Archie, my Granddad Scottie and dad Richard at the old Ocotillo Park Golf Course in Hobbs.
Archie was a good player, but an even better man. I will remember him fondly and rejoice in the knowledge that he and Granddad will meet again — probably for a round of golf — in God’s Eternal Kingdom.
May you Rest In Peace, Mr. Cunningham.

Wish we could be with Patsy and family to celebrate this wonderful man. We were blessed to have known him and called him family. Our hearts are broken that we can't be there but we send all our love and prayers, Patsy and family. I have no doubt that Archie, my dad, JR and others are all playing dominoes like they used to.

I first met Archie at ENMSGA where we both have been members for a long time. Archie is one of those men that you just feel comfortable around from the moment you met him. He is always respected, and I would laugh as he would tell one of players in our foursome to hurry up and hit the ball, and the player would say "yes sir"....and Archie would say. ..."well...hit it!". I would always look for him when we ate our afternoon meal when we had finished golfing, for he was always talking and telling stories....and I loved listening to him. RIP Chief Cunningham....will miss you my brother.

I worked with Chief Cunningham from 1982 to 1987 he was the best person to work for and i have the best memories of him. The job on the Police Dept was great because of the Chief. I am sorry of his passing and i wish the family well.
