I met Chauncy through Marlyn. Marlyn and my husband were related.
Chauncy was one of the most caring and one of the finest people I know. I will miss him terribly.
We had many conversations over the past several years. Lots of laughter, sharing of memories and a few tears.
We did share a few "adventures", too. I was able to see Carlsbad Caverns with Chauncy. We were able to explore Palo Duro Canyon and Caprock Canyon.
Because of health issues I was not able to attend services, but please know that my Prayers, Love and Hugs are with all of you at this most difficult time.
With Love, Diane Powers

We have been neighbors since 1983. We knew Chauncy to be a good person and neighbor. We had several great conversations over the years. We are saddened by Chauncy’s passing but know he has joined his loved ones.
You have our sincere condolences.

I don’t have any pictures except for the ones in my mind but I do have several memories. Like times he took Chris and I fishing at Chaparral Lake, or at the Pacos River. Working on my motorcycle when I first got it, we had to tear it apart and replace nearly every gear and sprocket in it, afterwards he said “Rodney, if you ever buy a bike like that don’t come to me to fix it, we haven’t been able to park in the garage for a week.” Of course he had a half way grin on his face. But the on I really remember the most was not to long ago, he came to Gorman with Chris to go hunting on my ranch. We hunted for three days and didn’t see a thing but he said that was one of the best hunting trips he had been on in a long time. I will never forget that.
