To Jamie's family...I was Jamie's Arthritis class (pool) for years. She was such a joy to get to know. She always had stories to tell about her family and her traveling adventures and of course, her church activities. Jamie, Fern, Vera, and Amy were the Lovington Ladies! I could always count on them being in class each Mon, Wed, and Fri at 6:45 in the morning, rain or shine just about! Personally, Jamie had a blast at my New Year's Eve (midnight) wedding in 2005. Not too many ladies her age would stay up that late for anything. She also invited me to her home for backyard potlucks and I always enjoyed them. She was a very special lady. I'm glad to have had the chance to get to know her and I'll miss her!!! Prayers and good thoughts for Jamie!!

To Becky & family,
We just want you to know our prayers are with you. We were so sorry to hear about your Mom. I have been remembering you in prayer for I know how hard it is to lose a Mom even though they have lived a full life. Your Mom is the same age that my (Wanda's) Mom was when she passed away. God Bless you all. Larry & Wanda

Jamie was one of the most precious Christians I have known! Our lives have been intertwined for most of mine. She and my mom were in the same hospital at the same time having baby girls who later became best friends and went on to play together, set the fence on fire together, and grow to love Jesus, in no small part, because she had taught us in Sunday School. Later in my life, she ministered to me and taught me and was my friend.
Heaven is sweeter because you're there, Jamie!

What can I say about Jamie except that you was a truly awesome and wondrous woman. A true showing of christ's love every day. I met Jamie at Dynabody gym, and what a dynamo! Always so generous with her love, advice, mentorship. I continued to grow to know Jamie when I worked at the jail and she taught bible study to the women incarcerated. They all loved her and looked forward to her visits as well. A true gem that I will miss but I can be at peace knowing she is happy in our lord's arms. See you soon sweet lady. <3

Just saying Miz Jamie's name brings a smile to my face. What an amazing, Godly woman! Her love of Jesus was so evident in the way she spoke, the manner in which she lived her life, and in the way she treated others. Such a blessing to others, and so wise! She had a wonderful sense of humor, and I can still see her face when she laughed--I can't wait to hear the joy of that laugh again when we meet in Heaven.
Miz Jamie is inexorably woven into the fabric of my life. I will never forget her and will never cease to be grateful for the example of Godly womanhood she lived throughout the years I knew her.
Till we meet again, Miz Jamie...I love you.

As a child, a first impression is lasting. The first time I saw that beautiful smile on Miss Jamie's face, I knew that I had a lifetime friend. She taught this child about the love of Jesus, and how wonderful it is to have faith in a life that isn't always easy. Keep watch over your precious family, for they are a precious tribute and true testament to the life you so freely shared. Your sweet Shorty sends her love as well and a thanks for your friendship and love.

Your wonderful mother will be missed by many, especially the girls from "First East" as she was the last mother to leave our group on this earth. We all look forward to seeing her again in heaven. May the Lord comfort all of you on your deep loss.
