I am devastated to see we lost John, or Juanito as I affectionately nicknamed him. He was truly an amazing human being and wonderful pharmacist who I will always hold dear in my heart.
My favorite memory of him, that I retell to this day, is the time he and I were scheduled to end our shifts at the same time but the other pharmacist had not returned from lunch so I challenged Juanito to arm wrestle to see who would leave. I’m left handed so I thought making the challenge left-handed would give me the win; Juanito put me down immediately and told me “you forgot I’m left handed too” as he strolled out the door..
