Like her mother, Glo loved wearing red and pink. She loved being very feminine, dresses, jewelry, perfume, purses and of course a cute pair of shoes - a girly girl!
Glo is my cousin, but she was closer to my mom's age, her Aunt Era, and they were like sisters. When Glo, Era and Ruth, her mother, got together, the giggles never stopped! These ladies had fun, even while carrying out their duties as wives and mothers - preparing meals, washing dishes, hanging laundry, tending kids, shopping, etc...
I will miss Glo so very much and remember her especially in those years when her life was full and active, when George was strong and healthy, when Geody was wild and crazy,and when the three of them made it so fun for us Arizona cousins to visit their home.
I learned from them all to laugh harder and love deeper.
