Penny Louise Hudson November 01, 1961 - July 11, 2017 Memorial services for Penny Louise Hudson, 55, 9f Lovington, NM will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. . Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Penny was born in Lovington on November 1, 1961 to Roland and Letha (Kite) Hudson and passed away on July 11, 2017 at her home. She has lived in Lovington all of her life and spent her life taking care of her children and her parents. She was a cook at Main Street Café for many years and was a very good cook. Her brother, Forrest always teased her and told everyone that he had taught her to cook. She was a fun loving person that could occasionally be stubborn but loved her family. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye and she loved being with her family. She was preceded in death by her father. Surviving her is her mother: Letha Hudson of Lovington ; one son: Derrick Sivils of Lovington; two daughters: Denise Sivils of Andrews, TX and Crystal Sivils of Lovington; four brothers: Steve Hudson of Green River, Wyoming, Forrest and Michael Hudson, both of Lovington and Dan Gordon of Tyler, TX and one sister: Diannia Hudson of Andrews, TX; also four grandchildren.
