I met Gene when I worked at the Lovington Abstract Co and then went to District Court. Gene was always willing to help new folks when they felt lost at learning the job. Gene and Les were always friendly and enjoyed visiting with everyone. Sure miss both from the Lovington area.

I first met Gene when I went to work at Lovington Abstract Co. in 1978. I came to work for Elliott & Waldron just before she retired in 1984. She was always so kind and hard working. I have fond memories of both her and Francis Crow. She was very knowledgeble in the real estate title field and I learned alot from her. My sympathies to the family.
